Anger

There is a monster
That lives deep,deep
In the pitch black darkness of my belly
I don't know where he came from
Or how he got there
But ever now and then
He is released
He can not be stopped until he is finished
He leaves a path of pain
Words that slice through your heart
Let out when threatened
He comes for blood
I try to control him
But he is going stronger in confinement
Take this as my infinite apology
I can't defend his actions
Even if provoked
One day I will watch him go
There is a monster
That lives deep,deep
In the pitch black darkness of my belly
He is known as anger
He is deadly

Judgement

It's getting more and more uncomfortable in here
Stand at attention for the judge to appear
According to the demons
You are guilty of treason
At the end of this character massacre
Hold strong put nothing past him or her
Sold you the illusion
Mind intrusion
You think you are free
All the slaves agree
The black man can't save you affiliated with them
Hold his tongue extradite him
The rebels poisons sit in the back
Sedated eyes fool you I am waiting to attack
The revolution won't be televised
Big screens meant to hypnotize
Sad faces, petty cases
No money, countless racist
They try to make success unattainable
Change your clothes their appetite is insatiable
By now we all know the game
Don't spend your life chasing money, lies and fame
When the light turns out we are all the same
Only love can survive this game

Young flower child

When I was young
I leapt without looking
Drove miles with no expectations
No destination
Think twice for what
You are lucky if I think once
When I was young
Nothing even mattered at all
Except the taste of your lips  early in the morning
When can I see you again?
I fell in love with you friend
 Again friend
Forever is just till tomorrow
But how sweet is this day
Oh when I was young
It was all possible
And the world was so kind
When I was young there was only time for fun
Hurtful words from yesterday
Vanish with the setting sun
I haven't changed much
Coffee still in my cup
Slow drags of the blunt
I guess I'm still young enough

Gratitude

When I made the list
Of all that I am grateful for
My heart was overwhelmed
Tears poured out of my spirit
How could I have forgotten
Riches beyond measure
I bowed my head with gratitude
Whispering thank you
Till I couldn't anymore

Observations

I saw you walking down the rainy street
You are with a New girl now
Her hair dull and matted
I wonder what void she could fill
Would fill
Is filling
On days like today
I want to plaster the holes in my heart
With a flaccid material
But what good would that do?
The holes will still be there
Waiting for another girl with chestnut brown hair, mousey features and thin lips
Not much has become of me
Nothing became of us

Blue rooms

I'm still here
In the same place you left me in
5000 steps ago
And countless full moons
I'm not an apparition of your memory
I am a living breathing human being
Who thrives on love
You have stolen that from me
Left with not even a goodbye
See you never
As if I was unnecessary all along
As if I was some trivial thing left in your closet
As if my laughter was unwanted
Sounds of disdain
My jokes aren't funny now
My voice drives you insane
I'm alone
This is true
But I'm not here waiting on you

Earth day with your tree

I want to be someone's favorite tree
Standing strong and tall
Swaying with the wind
But bowing to no one
A magnificent being
Growing with time
Until it reaches the height of elevation
In which it was meant for
Documenting history in my rings
Silently watching as a child climbs climbs my limbs
"I remember when you were young so young"
I would say
"You would play in my branches all day"
"Blessing me with your smiles comforting me with your hugs"
"Now life has made you stern and cold"
"But you can always look at me your favorite tree see my flowers blooming and remember happier times"
